Hurricane Season Preparation

The key to surviving any emergency is being prepared!

A hurricane can cause major headaches for you and your family - power outages, long lines at gasoline stations and supermarkets, limited medical supplies, not being able to stay informed, etc. The best way to minimize these and many other problems is to be prepared.

Don't wait until a hurricane threatens our region to think about what you need to safeguard you and your family.

Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30, and strike at any time, cause significant property damage, and disrupt services such as water, telephone, and electricity. That is why you should develop a hurricane preparedness plan now, prepare your home and/or business, and know how to stay informed before, during, and after a storm.
