Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will be providing residents updates regarding issues and how they relate to Hollywood, Broward County and South Florida.
Featured Guest Speaker: Mrs. Lorie Mertens-Black, Hollywood’s Chief Civic Affairs Officer, address citizen services, quality of life and civic engagement issues. She also monitors the City’s legislative agenda and legislative issues at the federal and state levels. Bring your concerns and questions.
Assistant City Manager, Gus Zambrano will be talking to residents regarding the General Obligation Bond proposal.

Josh Levy will serve as Mayor of Hollywood for a 4-year term that will lead the City into the year 2020. Josh grew up in Hollywood and graduated from Hollywood Hills High School in 1992. During his term as Mayor, Levy is committed to improving neighborhoods, ensuring public safety, helping to improve public schools and stimulate economic growth and job creation.

Broward County Mayor, Beam Furr will provide us with a State of the County Address with discussions on everything from Port Everglades, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International airport updates to beach restoration.

HHCA Mel Pollak College Scholarships will be given to a graduating senior from Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School, Hollywood Hills High School, and South Broward High School.
