Giving back to our community to help keep our neighborhood clean is an awesome feeling!

April 20, 2019 was an great day for the Hollywood Hills Civic Association “Adopt-a-Street” event. Lots of trash was collected between 46th Avenue and 56th Avenue on Thomas Street in Hollywood. Seven (7) large garbage bags almost 100 pounds of newspapers, and cigarette butts, toys, diapers, plastic bottles, beer bottles, and mini alcohol bottles were picked up off the streets. It was a great feeling knowing we made a difference today.

• A Special Thank You to Rick Prindeville, Amy Sorren, Robert Sorren and Pam Burgio for a job well done!

• Thank you to the City of Hollywood Public Works Department for providing all the necessary tools for the street cleanup.

Let’s all try to do our part while out walking or riding your bicycle, try to bring a pair of gloves and a small garbage bag so if you happen upon any trash, then you could pick it up and dispose of it properly. You will feel great knowing you are helping to keep your City cleaner. This is a great way to get Community Service hours.

The Hollywood Hills Civic Association's next Adopt a Street event is scheduled for Saturday, July 20, 2019.
