"Citizen Services, Quality of Life and Civic Engagement Issues"

The Hollywood Hills Civic Association February 21, 2018, meeting will have plenty of important information that includes 3 guest speakers.

Congresswoman, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will be providing residents updates regarding issues and how they relate to Hollywood, Broward County, and South Florida. 

Featured Guest Speaker: Lorie Mertens-Black serves as the Chief Civic Affairs Officer for the City addressing citizen services, quality of life and Civic engagement issues as well as monitoring the City’s legislative agenda and legislative issues at the Federal and State levels.

Assistant City Manager, Gus Zambrano will be talking to residents regarding the General Obligation Bond proposal. The City of Hollywood is exploring a plan to ask voters to consider a General Obligation Bond (GO Bond) during the November 2018 election to fund improvements in neighborhoods, parks and city facilities. Currently, work is underway to refine the construction project list.  The City of Hollywood would like to have input from your association to help guide the decision-making process and shape the future of the City of Hollywood.
